I have just converted the Pivot GeSHi snippet to a PivotX extension. This snippet enables you to use GeSHi, the Generic Syntax Highlighter, from within PivotX by simply setting your code inside a "geshi" block.

Visit http://extensions.pivotx.net/entry/27/geshi for more information and download.

Hi,

thanks alot for this plugin :D . It is working now for me, but one check, is it normally necessary to leave out the <?php / ?> tags? My blog didn't seem to like them.

regards,

Maarten

I have no problems with the PHP open/close tags - see an example (from my dev/test weblog). At what point didn't it work for you? (What editor did you use and so on.)

I'm using the default editor, tried it in wysiwig and in the source code mode. In the wysiwig it escapes the < and > symbols, which makes sense.
So do I have to use another editor?

I'm using "None (Plain XHTML)" which actually isn't that bad (since the MarkItUp toolbar is available in that mode).

where do I set the editor? I looked around but couldn't find it..

update: Nevermind, found it. For other people looking for it in the future, it is under 'my info' in the header of the pivotx admin :D
