Because of the logfile message:
The fifth parameter is disabled in SAFE MODE.. (in <em>'Transport/SimpleMailInvoker.php'</em> on line 48)
I just deleted that fifth parameter $extraParam from that line 48 ( return mail($to, $subject, $body, $headers, $extraParams) )
And now the logfile says: send_email_success = 2
But I don't receive any email.

Well.. it looks like safe mode is doing something... I don't know what though.

I'll try to look into that, but please remember - it's not just a beta because I want to be trendy, it's a beta because a lot of things are still work in progress. Keep the bugreports for those "unusual" and complicated situations coming.

(I really should get a testserver with safemode somewhere)

Hi there...

My form is not sending any emails.

I'm using the most basic of setups.. im running PivotX 2.0.2

This is what I did:
1. added 'always_jquery' (value 1) in the advanced configuration
2. copied the latest files from the formbuilder to the extensions folder of pivotx
3. added a new page with [[contactform]] as introduction
4. changed e-mail addresses in /formbuilder/_formbuilder_contactform.php (lines 40 and 44)

I also changed the contactform.confirm.tpl.php in formbuilder/templates to just display a "thank you" message.

Again: I'm not recieving any emails, but i do get the confirmation message on screen.

Any ideas on what I'm missing?

Formbuilder has a pivotx 2.1.0 requirement.. and that was probably because one of the tiny things inside like loading the library for actually sending mails.

Actually changing the example emailadresses in the code is unneccesary. The emailadresses of the author of the entry / page will be retrieved by the form, if you want another address you should use [[contactform to="email@example.com" ]]

Some other requirements are PHP 5+ and safemode=off ... it's a bit nitpicky I guess

Hello!

Is there a way to include the requirement to type a spam code (you know... the numbers and letters showing in a scrambled way in an image that you have to enter before you're able to send the contact form)?

I'm using [[ contactform ]].

Thanks in advance!

there is no easy way to do that at the moment, but the form has a little bit of invisible spamprotection built in...
in most sites I implemented the contactform it's adequate
