May I politely suggest that our excellent developers always add some information for the humble user? ;-)
What does this extension do? Does it sort html-tables or database tables? And why should we want to use it?

Well, I should have turned "jQuery Tablesorte" into a link in the post above - I did in the extension documentation, but is it too much to expect our excellent users to be able to use Google ;-)

PS! For those that won't use the link above, the short story is: "tablesorter is a jQuery plugin for turning a standard HTML table with THEAD and TBODY tags into a sortable table without page refreshes."

Of course this user isn't too lazy to use Google if necessary, but when it already looks complicated, I expect google only to return more complicated stuff.
As you know I'm not a programmer, so I have an interest in making PivotX as accessable to the common user as it can be. Otherwise it remains a cms for script-savvy people.
So I hope you don't mind me asking for some clarification from time to time. ;-)

does someone knows what I am doing wrong here

<table class="table table-hover" [[ jquery_tablesorter , 'sortList: [ [4,0] ]' ]]>

or

<table class="table table-hover" [[ jquery_tablesorter , sortList='[[4,0]]' ]]>

table sorter is working but, I would like to presort the list on column 4

but this is not working and I tried a lot!

can some have a look at the above

thanks!

It's ages since I wrote this extension, but reading the included documentation (which is accessible from the extension list in your PivotX), I think the right syntax is:

Code: Select all
<table class="table table-hover" [[ jquery_tablesorter options='sortList: [ [3,0] ]' ]]>
