Is it possible with the calendar extension to post entries in the future and you can click through past AND future entries?

A restaurant wants to post daily a "special of the day menu".
The owner doesnt want to login everyday to make an entry for the daily special, he/she want to post monthly all the specials of that specific month.

I thought this calendar extension could maybe what he/she wants.
So is this the right way to achieve this?

-Posting 30 entries (each day and every entry in 'timed publish' )
-Showing at the website 1 entry in a new category

But is it possible to get an next AND previous link.. to go to for example the daily special menu for coming Saturday?
Or is this way to diffucult and theres a better idea?

just testing the calendar extension.. and realise thats also just work fine without this extension
Even if i post entries in the future I can see these entries! ? (or do i miss something here?)

It seems we haven't improved this extension for a while - there isn't even any documentation...

If you use the calendar tag in your template, there are some options you can select - status, category and user. Unluckily, you currently can only select one status - you can't list both "publish" and "timed" entries in the same calendar. One option is to set the coming entries as publish, not timed, and do a date test in your templates if you need to hide them ... Not sure I see a very clean solution here, but then I might not completely understand what you want.

Well, maybe i just can list only "publish" entries in a specific category and, Yes, do the date test! (not yet know to do that!)
But that would be a solution..

We just released a new version, 0.11, which just fixes a single, but important, bug. I recommended everyone to upgrade.
