Hey there...

I got a little problem with that Google Calendar Extension.

It does not show the correct date nor the time of the events...

It looks like this:

Can you give me some advise to fix this?

Thanks a lot for PIVOTX!!!

btw: I'm using the final 2.1 version and the extension is from 2010-05-19.

As long as you don't provide the ID for the calendar, it's impossible to debug it. It works for me. (If you don't want to post the ID on the forum, e-mail it to

Thanks to hansfn we figured out, that this is a server side problem which can only be fixed by my host.
The following two calls in the calendar.php are causing the trouble on my server:

Code: Select all
$date_start = date("Y-m-d-H-i-s", strtotime($item['gd']['when@starttime']));
$date_end = date("Y-m-d-H-i-s", strtotime($item['gd']['when@endtime']));

It's a pitty that I get wrong results.
But anyway: thanks for the great support!

Is there a way this extension might work with a pop-up when I click on an event shown on my blog, instead of taking me to the google calendar page where is my event (with the rest of the info)? Something like fancybox would be just great. I would like to add google calendar as a sidebar column named "Coming Events" and when users click on an event to have it shown in a pop-up window.

Sorry about the late reply.

If it hadn't been for the recent improvement in security (to avoid clickjacking) we could have just use a simple iframe with a special CSS class and Fancybox (through the Fancybox extension). Now you have to open a new window using a JavaScript onclick event.

In the settings for the extension, change the "Output format" to:

Code: Select all
<li><a onClick='"%link%", "", "toolbar=no,resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes,width=500,height=200"); return false;' href="%link%">%title%</a> -
<span class='date'>%date_start%-%date_end%</span></li>

Not sure whether it is the reason of your warning..... But if you click on the link this message is shown
Code: Select all
Voor deze agenda is geen toegang voor openbaar ingesteld. Als je de eigenaar van deze agenda bent, kun je de agenda openbaar maken op de pagina met instellingen voor het delen van agenda's.
which seems to point that no public access is allowed?
Please specify your PivotX release and Google Calender version if more research is needed.

I have just released version 1.1 of this extension. Finally you can merged multiple calendars (just by entering a comma-separated list of calendar IDs).

PS! The extension documentation has always claimed that you could display entries from multiple calendars, but that was a lie until today ;-)
