Are you 110% sure that you have entered the correct 4 keys for the Twitter API? If db/cache/lifestream.php is almost empty, the call to Twitter has failed (because of wrong keys).

A general piece of advice. The extension is caching data for 10 minutes. (All Twitter data is cached in the file db/cache/lifestream.php) If you change the Twitter configuration (for example Twitter search term), it might take some minutes before the new results appears unless you manually delete db/cache/lifestream.php. There is no need to delete the file, if it is "empty". In those situation, the extension will always try to download new data.

Have you read the extension documentation and gotten the four Twitter API keys?

Added: I just noticed that you edited your initial post and wrote "EDIT: okay, same story for Last.fm.... Only loading!"

Well, the Last.fm part hasn't been modified so maybe your problem is something else - that the webserver isn't allowed to make outbound connections? Have the extension worked for you earlier?

If db/cache/lifestream.php isn't created at all, it indicates that you haven't set "Twitter username" (which is the user you want to fetch tweets from) in the extension configuration.

I am also having trouble with my twitter app and the lifestream extension. I have updated the extension, created and input the API keys as well as my twitter username.

The output for my twitter feed just says "a very long time ago"

My lifestream.php cache file says
Code: Select all
[twitter] => stdClass Object
        (
            [errors] => Array
                (
                    [0] => stdClass Object
                        (
                            [message] => Timestamp out of bounds
                            [code] => 135
                        )

                )

        )

Your help, as always, is much appreciated! Thanks!

@jeanna: Thx for posting the content of lifestream.php. This indicates that your server's time (clock) is wrong. You can verify the time difference using the code posted in this comment on the Twitter dev forum. Can you fix the time on your server - ask your hoster. If not, I have to extend the extension so it can modify/fake the timestamps.
