HitCounter Link leads to Comments

Hi,

the HitCounter Extension on my website generates links to the comments area of the entries.
The links are generated that way: http://www.mysite.com/link-to-the-entry#comm

Is this working as designed or can I change that behaviour so that only the entry-url is generated (without the #comm)?

Hi,

It's a PivotX thing. By default when there is link create internally it always adds the #comm. You can override it, but that hasn't been done in this case.
If you're not scared to change the code by yourself, you could change on line 315 in hook_hitcounter.php:

$rec['link'] = makeFileLink($rec);

to

$rec['link'] = makeFileLink($rec,'','');

It will be updated in a next release, but at the moment it seems to small to make a new release.
