I love it.. and I envy your artistic abilities. =] It will be great addition to the collection at themes.pivotx.net once your theme.. and the theme section.. are complete.

How's that coming, Bob?

i must be stupid...

i've created this theme a while ago, back when i ignored the existence of other browsers than IE, and it works just fine in IE. however! something strange is happening in firefox (and chrome and opera and safari...). Here's the problem:

each entry exists of 3 div's (top, center, bottom) with a different background image. in IE, they seamlessly go together into one nice area, but all the other browsers seperate the bottom from the center and top. i've looked into it with firebug, but cannot seem to find the problem (only just started looking into different browsers, so i also have a hard time thinking of what i may be in the first place!).

here's the code:

Code: Select all
<div id="content">
         <div id="weblog">

         <!-- begin of weblog 'standard' -->
         [[ subweblog name="standard" ]][[ literal ]]

         <!-- entry '[[title]]' -->

            <div class="entry-top">
               <h2><a href="[[ link hrefonly=1 ]]">[[title]]</a></h2>
               <p class="date">
               [[ date format="%dayname% %day% %monthname% %year% - %hour12%&#58;%minute% %ampm%" ]]
               </p>
            </div>

            <div class="entry">

               [[introduction]]

               [[more]]

            </div>

            <div class="entry-bottom">
               <p class="entryfooter">
                  <span class="meta">
                     [[ user field=emailtonick ]] |
                     [[ category link=true ]] |
                  </span>

                  <span class="comments">
                     [[commentlink]]
                  </span>

               </p>
            </div>

            [[ /literal ]][[ /subweblog ]]
         <!-- end of weblog 'standard' -->

and the css:

Code: Select all
.entry-top {
   width: 450px;
   margin: 10px 10px 0px 10px;
   padding: 50px 50px 0px 50px;
   height: 70px;
   background: url(images/post-top.png) top center no-repeat;
   text-align: center;
   }

.entry {
   width: 500px;
   margin: 0px 10px;
   padding: 25px;
   background: url(images/post.png) top center repeat-y;
   color: #613c12;
   }

.entry-bottom {
   width: 490px;
   margin: 0px 10px 10px 10px;
   padding: 0px 30px;
   height: 120px;
   background: url(images/post-bottom.png) bottom center no-repeat;
   color: #613c12;
   text-align: center;
   }

anybody that can help me out here??

Not sure yet, but after the first quick look I would suggest you look at the empty <div> that's there for the gallery, that seems suspicious...try deleting the [[gallery]] code form the template, and see if it dissapears..

that can't be it - the problem was already there before i added the gallery-div.

i don't know if it is a proper way to do this, but i solved the problem by adding this code:

Code: Select all
   margin: -12px 10px 10px 10px;
   _margin: 0px 10px 10px 10px;
