[2.3.0] Image Upload does not work anymore in Safari

This is the place to discuss bugs that have been found in the most recent version of PivotX. Posting bugs will ensure that the Development Team is aware of them and that they will be addressed when resources are available.

Version 2.8.4 is currently in the branch (revision 4021): http://pivot-weblog.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pivot-weblog?view=revision&revision=4021
Please try that one (do not forget to download the other 3 files in that revision too).

Edit: link changed to point to the revision.

So, just replace the object.php with the one that you refer to?
Is it safe to use this or is this a risky beta file? When will the next stable update of PivotX be out?

(My client has upload problems with 2.3.1 - Windows, browser used not know yet.)

Sorry the link is not entirely correct, it should point to revision 4021 (I'll change it). But since then more updates were made to timthumb.
So better go here http://pivot-weblog.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pivot-weblog/branches/2.3.x/pivotx/includes/ and select the following files:
timthumb-config.php
timthumb-error.jpg
timthumb-notfnd.jpg
timthumb.php

and try again.
Version 2.3.2 will be released soon (I know that's been said a while..... ;) )

Isn't it better to just use http://pivotx.net/files/unstable-development/pivotx-2.3.x-latest.zip instead of telling people to upgrade to 2.3.1 and grab this and that file? This is a daily updated snapshot of what is to become the next stable release - currently 2.3.2. (This file tells you the last revision included.)

I thought it was until you said (some time ago) that it has risks to point people to the entire unstable version zip (because there are more changes in there). I am sure those 4 files go together and are not dependent on others. But of course the entire unstable zip will do the trick as well.
