How soon is soon?
Would love to convert some pivot (believe it or not, they still exist) and pivotx sites to bolt.

I just made a pivotx site all https, it has made pivotx lose all entries. Or at least they're invisible now. Would prefer converting to bolt before trying to fix the pivotx ssl nginx rewrite mess.

Soon just means how much time we have to work on it (all volunteers you know....) and obviously to test it.
I have added some code but am not using it for Bolt. So it all depends on the testing..............

hansfm; feel free to let me test a pivotx to bolt install/conversion;
One of the sites I maintain/admin is a personal one, since that one is currently down anyway (due to unrelated issues) I can mess everything up without problems and I have root to the server (linux debian 7, nginx, php-fpm). This pivotx install is pretty plain vanilla default-ish, so should not be too hard.

Once this is ready, I will be happy to try it on my personal site(s), and report back the results.

Bump. Again, my pivotx setup fails on the fact that the entire site runs on ssl now. Setup keeps returning to the unknown user setup screen.
Please let me leave this horrible mess by exporting/importing the entries to bolt and forget about pivot.

You have to ask hansfn about the status of the testing to Bolt (I do the WP part).
Currently I am adding support for Bonusfields (together with a plugin for WP).

Hi,

Just wondering what the status is. Just used p2w.php script to get all my entries and comments in one xml file. And no I'm trying to import them in my bolt installation with the importwxr, but with no luck and an error "…/extensions/vendor/bolt/importwxr/Extension.php167" - "Whoops \ Exception \ ErrorException (E_ERROR) Call to undefined method Bolt\Helpers\String::slug()"

It might be a mapping error, but is there a basic mapping that I could use for the import?

The status is that the export tool is entirely ready for WP but I am waiting on the test results for Bolt.
After that the extension can be released.

I would not know what the solution to your current problem is as I am not using Bolt.

Just for the record: We know nothing about p2w.php. Issues with that script should be posted in the follwoing Github project - https://github.com/eduh/Pivotx-To-Wordpress/

Added: Issues with importwxr should be posted in https://github.com/bolt/bolt PS! Have you updated Bolt without updating the extension maybe? (Just a wild guess.)
