Include PHP files (revised)

Postby dbrooke0830 » Wed Sep 17, 2014 9:49 pm

Hello,
I have my first BOLT site in development:
http://dev.camnetics.com/

I need to include an app I built a while back in PHP between my BOLT header and footer above. I've uploaded the app here:
http://dev.camnetics.com/pf.php

The app uses it's own include files, images, css, etc...

What is the best way to do this?

(NOTE, I created this new thread based off of an older thread, because I wanted to better represent what I was doing. I will update the old thread to point here)

Hi,

IMHO there are at least two ways to do it :

1. Bolt extension : I read the previous post and to follow this idea, perhaps you should start at the top of the page https://docs.bolt.cm/extensions and use the extension Wizard : http://extension-wizard.bolt.cm/ By doing this you have the structure to include your code in the Bolt way.

2. Possibility to put your app in a iframe ? If the purpose of the other app is a bit separate of the website itself.

Hope this helps :)

jhice, thx.

I always avoid iframes, but in this case, it was the easiest solution.

Sometimes the easiest path is the right one ;)
