So I have installed PivotX within an existing static website as the CMS for the "news" page. It took me a while to redirect all links created by PivotX from "index.php?blah" to "news.php?blah" so that any link clicked will stay within the news section.
I used the help explained here to internally rename index.php to "news.php" - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3522&p=17259
However, now whenever I click a link, it adds a trailing slash between php and ? so the link does "news.php/?e=1" for example. This screws up the page. When I manually remove the slash, it works fine and displays correctly. Why is PivotX adding the slash?
Did the advice I follow on the other post screw it up for me?
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
