Changing Text Editors

Postby solarsurfer » Tue Feb 11, 2014 8:32 am

Hi.
I have been looking for around 15 mins and can't find how to do this, so if anyone knows it would be appreciated.

I need to install CK Editor, instead of the default editor installed. It must be a really simple process, and if anyone
can shine any light on the matter it would be appreciated.

Thanks
Solar

I think that will be a problem. There are several editors incorporated in PivotX and the default one being TinyMCE.
I am even not sure whether this is possible to add or replace one the editors.
Quality is in the detail of things............

Want to change or update your PivotX site? Mail or PM me!
I can also convert your site to a Wordpress site!

There is no way in PivotX to change the text editor, but it shouldn't be too hard - you just need to attach CKeditor to some/all textareas (and remove the current editor). Unfortunately, I don't have time to provide the details.
