Now it's sociable

Postby RaVlaNa » Mon Apr 14, 2014 10:15 pm

I added the sociable extension, I put [[ sociable ]] in my entry.tpl and set up the different elements I want in the config.

Here is what I get:
http://prntscr.com/3a1upy

What am I doing wrong this time?
Thanks.

Found the answer to this too.
Except, when I click on the Facebook link, at the bottom of the FB share page it says "http://www.vlaamseradio.tkhttp/www.vlaamseradio.tk/pivotx/?e=2", and the entries do not seem to appear on FB.

If you want to stay in control what FB shows the sharer you need to add open graph tags to your pages.

This is independent of the extension you are using.

Otherwise FB will try to deduce it by just looking at your web page.

The fact that your url shows up twice in the sharer could be due to the fact that your canonical host is incorrect. Look at the advanced configuration and see what value is there.
You can also post a link to your site so we can see for ourselves (because I think it is also added to your pages).
Quality is in the detail of things............

Want to change or update your PivotX site? Mail or PM me!
I can also convert your site to a Wordpress site!

Ok, thanks.
However, now that I set the mod rewrite, it seems to be OK.
Nevertheless, my blog can be found at www.vlaamseradio.tk/pivotx/
You will notice I am still working on it.
