Hi Harm10,
Not sure what you mean by this "add the include in the wordpress importer file" - I simply followed these instructions
Extract the .zip file, upload it to your pivotx/ folder and open pivotx/import_wordpress.php in your browser. Follow the on-screen instructions to convert all your entries to MySQL.
After you're done, all the Entries, Pages, Comments, Tags, Categories and Users from your Wordpress blog will be imported into PivotX. You can now delete your old Wordpress, and the wp_* tables from the Database.

Will PM you access details thanks ;)

Ah my mistake! I thought you were converting from PivotX to Wordpress.......
I do not know this import_wordpress.php file. Were did you get it from?
And even so why do you want to convert from Wordpress to PivotX?
You know development of PivotX has stopped long ago? Better use its successor Bolt https://bolt.cm/

Got the file fro - http://book.pivotx.net/page/4-2 - Step 3. Converting your entries.
Been looking for a multiblog that could import posts, pages, media and existing authors from wordpress, I like Oxwall but can't import from wordpress
Didn't know development had stopped ,will take a look at bolt , thanks

Didn't even know that part of the documentation. As stated development has stopped so I guess fixing this import script to solve your problem will not happen.

I know Bolt can also import the general import/export format of WP wxr.
So I think you will be in for a nice surprise when you look at Bolt.
