tim thumb works randomly

after many years of working fine since 2 days I got the following

Timthumbs works but for skips sometime (yes randomly) images.

The images are on the server, there are no errors creating the images but they are no shown

Images in the directory cache/thumbnails are all cmoded 600
db and directories are cmoded 755

it seems that timthumb cmods them into 600

Could that be the reason that it works randomly?

Hope someone has an idea?

If I refresh the page sometimes more thumbnails are created
Almost like the processing time is to short?

on this page you will see it:
/?a=2016-y00&w=weblog

I turned debug info on

I get the following:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/public_html/dat/pivotx/objects.php on line 800

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/public_html/dat/pivotx/objects.php on line 925

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/public_html/dat/pivotx/objects.php:800) in

according to bob it could be:

The server is over the resources limit,
capping off random threads

I will update when I get an answer from the host

no limits according to the host

attached a screen dump from developers tools

but if you access
http://dat/pivotx/includes/timthumb.php ... h=130&zc=1

directly there is no 500 error

does someone have an idea what the problem is?

thanks

Is the issue fixed? If so, what was the solution?

A general remark: When you get 500 internal errors, always check the webserver error log so you know what the actual error is. Very often it's easy to understand/fix.
