These strings are the default/initial chapter and pages and aren't translatable. This is just like the default/initial entries. I'm not sure if we should spend time translating the default/initial content...

I am interested in looking at the translation files. The link in the first post doesn't get me there.

On http://book.pivotx.net/index.php?page=3-9 is a link to download them but that doesn't work either [cut]

Maybe this post and the webpage can be corrected?

The webpage (documentation) and the first page is corrected. Thx for the problem report.

PS! It is pretty clear that you can download the latest translation files from the translation statistics page - it's even explicitly mentioned in the very first posts of this thread.

OK. BTW it's preparing and not prepering (this is to be found on the comments in the list of all translation files).

Edit by hansfn: I deleted the following posts about "prepering" since this is from a commit log message and completely irrelevant for the users of PivotX.

A new (great) release of PivotX is coming up - version 2.1.0. Please update the translations before the 15th of December. See the first post in this thread for how-to translate.

PS! Dutch and Norwegian Bokmål is covered. We're hoping that PivotX 2.1.0 will be 100% translated to German, French, Spanish, Italian and Romanian, but we really need your help!

Hello,

SVN ru.po file (Russian translation) is wrong (UTF-8 charset was initially generated from koi8-r, but original source file was coded in windows-1251). I fixed this.
How can I pass it to community?

And I'd like to continue to work on Russian translation.

Thx for the interest in the Russian translation. Regarding how to pass it on - quote from our Translation docs:
Submit your improved translation to translations at pivotx.net.

I'm surprised to hear that there is an encoding issue with ru.po - no one has reported that earlier. I recently got an updated translation from another user, loly, who also mentioned the wrong encoding. I suggest that you cooperate on the Russian translation. (I have informed loly about your post/interest.)
