Another week, another fresh PivotX theme. Here is Star Power: http://peterboorsma.nl/?e=2331&w=weblog. Originally made for http://weblogs.hollanddoc.nl/ as a WP MU theme but they decided not to use it. Their loss! ;)

It's free, it's fun. Enjoy!

site check

Hi,

This (http://www.cv-de-kleibakkers.nl) is the site I made with PivotX as cms. I was wondering what other PivotX users think about it. What does look nice and what can be done better?

I think it's neat! :-) Clean and clear. If I _had_ to say something, I'd notice the logo in your footer... I know it says 'kleibakkers', but without knowing that from the title of the website I wouldn't be able to read it. Minor detail, I know :-)

So this is our little blog. Nothing special, just a couple of friends keeping in touch, thanks to Pivotx.

One thing leads to another...

I've maintained http://www.kolesqueeste.nl on Pivot since 2003. It 's an excellent tool and I'm not really in to changes - so both the tool and the look and feel remained practically unaltered for the last 5 years, compulsory upgrades aside. Lean and mean is key. Last week I decided it was finally time to prepare for an upgrade to PivotX. After backing up my DB I converted the blog to utf-8 and imported the entries in a brand new test blog.

The next morning I received some worried calls and sms-es. Kolesqueeste was gone - only the frontpage remained. So far for RTFM.

Unfortunately the backup didn't work either. No idea where that went wrong :? Anyway, a bit quicker than initially intended, I moved to PivotX. And since I was at it, I decided to make a redesign too. Still very minimalistic, but a bit more 21st century :D

Thanks for all the hard work, Pivoteers!

well, i finally decided to switch a site i've made a while ago to pivotX - hence all the questions i've been asking here lately ;)

it's a small buisiness-site for a befriended taxi-driver in Bali for him to try and get some customers, and it can be found here: www.real-bali.com

not everything is working properly yet (for instance, the guestbook suddenly started playing tricks on me...) and the picture-gallery isn't displaying the thumbs just yet, but well, i can never wait when i am excited to have 'finished' something :D

(last but not least: if anyone here ever decides to go on holiday to Bali, this man really is your best choice for a driver ;) !!)

I finally found some time to convert my private website to PivotX:

www.thoro.de

It's featuring my extension Top Navigation to get a two level navigation and multiple languages (in this case just de/en).

Cheers
