editting the "new entry" page

Postby razz » Mon Jul 11, 2011 2:42 pm

Hello.

I will try to explain what i'm exactly looking for as the title might be confusing you.

I want to find the file (source code) related to the "new entry" template. I'm just curious how the source code is and adjust it on some places where i think is needed..

Searched my ass off on FTP but could not find it..

Any hints?

thank you

To show exactly what i'm looking for. I want to edit the "link" (ctrl L) button. When clicking on it you can fill in an url and hit enter. The output is a link with description to click on.

What i want as output is a "target blank" in the url. So i'm looking for the file where i can edit this "link" button.

any help ?

I am not sure but try inc_init_tinymce.tpl in templates_internal.
Quality is in the detail of things............

@Harm: razz is using MarkItUp.

For MarkItUp (which is what you get if you don't select Wysiwyg - my favorite text editor setting is "None (plain XHTML)"): To add target blank, edit includes/markitup/set.js Look for "markituphtml" and on the line that defines the link action ("name:'Link'"), make the obvious change to "openWith".

It might be easier to just switch to the Wysiwyg editor (under My Info) that supports target blank without any modifications. However, the Wysiwyg editor has some drawbacks of course - less control.

PS! Sorry about the late reply.

Hi Hans.

Thank you for your reply.. You just saved me about 1 minute per day of my life by having an automated target blank code inserted into the code.

ps. hope you enjoyed your holiday.
