Hey Dwaas,

Did you fully integrate the highslide.js script, or do you just edit the HTML in your entries to use it? I'd like to start using it too, but I don't ant to be editing HTML every time, I just want it to do it with the pivot-popup tag.

Maybe I should just try to do this myself, but there's no point in inventing the wheel if you've already done that.

Hi,

This is slightly off-topic here ;) ,
But yes I kinda integrated it (half...I don't know how to make the pivot-popup, call on highslide, I'm very much NOT a coder ;)). I changed some "coding" in the templates to call on higslide (fi. there is a difference in the way movies and the pictures are presented). And they have a very good support-forum.
Then I use a message (on hold) were my template of highslide-coding is lokated for every picture and just copy paste in every new message were I want a hs-picture/movie. I use the popup of pivot itself to create the thumbs.
I'm not totally clear I suppose, but it is not hard, once you get the hang of it, you can make it work very easily in every post where you want a high-slide-popup. Love the script, and there is a lot you can do with it.
It has a learning curve, but one you got it...it lookes great (i think).

"Succes" :)

Hmm, not too sure about fancybox. I like the fact you can open multiple pistures in Highslide, and move them around...

But

(half...I don't know how to make the pivot-popup, call on highslide, I'm very much NOT a coder ;))

I know how to do that...just figured Dwaas had already done that...

I split the topic in two, so the 'show off' topic can stay, well, on topic. :-)

Anyhow, that fancybox thing sure looks fancy. If i have a bit of time soon, i'll see if i can get it to work with the regular [[ popup ]] tag.

Shouldn't be too hard, since it uses jQuery. :-)

I've been playing with it for a bit, and i like it. Hopefully i'll have some time this weekend to wrap up an extension that overrides the [[popup]] behaviour, and uses fancybox instead.

I'm using it for a website that I made for a company: http://www.gerritsgendt.nl (photo section). I really like it because of the looks and the possibility to view other content also (YouTube, websites).
