Well, I think other content could be done in the Thickbox as well. That was actually something I've been wondering about...I'd like to have the possibility to openb links to external websites in a thickbox (or fancybox, for that matter)...

Got it to work: http://webtwee.net/archive/2008/06/06/fancybox

It's an actual extension, that overrides the [[ popup ]] tag with the fancybox behaviour.

- Download the extension here http://pivotx.net/files/extensions/fancybox_0.1.zip
- Unzip and upload to pivot/extensions/fancybox
- Go to Extensions in PivotX, and enable the fancybox extension
- Voila, all your [[ popup ]] tags will show as fancyboxes now.

Thank you Bob! With your little extension for Fancybox, I was able to finally make my own extension for Floatbox http://randomous.com/tools/floatbox/.

It's really not that hard if you have an example ;)

Now, I know Floatbox is not as slick as Fancybox when it comes to the code (because Float does not use jquery, for instance), but I simply _love_ the options I have and the way it looks.

Anyway, If anybody wants to use it too, I do have an extension for it now. Although I removed all the crap I didn't need (fancy other color themes and stuff), it'll be easy to implement that if you'd want to. You can check it out here: http://www.mcheerjansdam.nl/racingteam

Loly, what version of firefox is that? It should word in most recent browser versions.. Do the examples in http://fancy.klade.lv/ work? If they do, i can narrow down where it goes wrong.

Schop: You're welcome. The thing is: Pivotx has a lot of things that are easily extensible, even with minor PHP knowlodge. The problem is, most of these things are in my head, only. I'll need to write down everything, and make proper documentation, so that more people can write extensions to fit their needs.

In the meantime, please consider tidying up your own work, and providing it as an extension to the community. We all benefit from having more choices. ;-)

Will do.

I'm also working on integrating Piwik (http://www.piwik.org) into my own install of Pivot, as an alternative to BBClone. I'll let you guys know when it's working.

I have a dumb question. I have shopping card on line. Made from zen cart. Where do I upload these files and place them at to get it to work.
http://pivotx.net/files/extensions/fancybox_0.1.zip

Thank you for the help. On the fancybox web site they don't have any good documentation what so ever.
