YouTube iFrame embedding for pro's (dynamically)

Been looking into and finding out I don't quite know enough about Javascript yet to find and replace every single YouTube iFrame on a site and change the code. Why you ask? Because this way it would be possible to add certain parameters to a YouTube embedded video automatically without going through the hassle of copy pasting a whole string.

Tumblr does this and it's rather sweet.

Does someone have experience doing this or an idea where I should look?
