&amp in url

Postby loly » Fri Jul 11, 2008 8:11 am

As i see Pivotx add to url &(& symbol)? I check log of server, and see Yahoo, Google and Yandex find duplicated content(/index.php?feed=rss&w=main)=(/index.php?feed=rss&w=main) and etc ... Anybody knows how to solved this ? (via mod_rewrite, maybe? )

We always try to convert & to & in URLs, as is specified by the (X)HTML standard. Your webserver should be able to handle both those cases, because a lot of websites use them wrongly. I'm not sure about yahoo, but i know for a fact that Google treats those URLs as being the same.

If, however you see unescaped & in URLs in your sourcecode, let us know, because we will need to fix those.
