translating just the front end?

Postby smok3 » Fri Apr 17, 2009 7:23 pm

so i'am trying to translate whatever may appear at the page (not the admin section), what i done so far is:

1. got the pivotx.pot (md5 3b2b8af2fbc5fad113c7b76295add3f0)
2. installed the poedit
3. started the translation...

however i can' seem to figure out what part is admin section and what frontend? (PivotX 2.0 beta 1)
Any help would be appriciated :)

p.s. is there an IRC channel for pivot(x)?

There is no way of extracting just the strings for the front-end - sorry.

Nope, there is no IRC channel for PivotX.

I'm always sad when people find stuff useless so I have tried to extract what is mostly strings for the front end. The number of strings are reduced from 997 to 324. If you are interested, please contact me (hansfn@gmail.com) and I'll send you this pot file. What language are you considering to translate?

wow, thanks for your time, the language is slovenian (and there is plan to to do 100% correct translation of the front-end, if i get things going that is...., right now i figure this engine is to complicated/feature rich for me).

Can you (in the future) rethink about splitting the pot to two different sections? (same for css and layouts) - that is front-end and back-end.
